The Home Stretch

Class Cycle 01-05 Is Almost Complete

Did you believe you would ever get to the last week of the cycle?

You're there now.

Did you think you could ever run over two miles without stopping?

You have.

Your hard work, dedication, and the encouragement of others has seen you through.

Chances are you're feeling better, looking better, are in better spirits, have a sense of accomplishment and comraderie, and want to encourage others to participate.

Team Promotion

You're team work has paid off. Frank has promoted the team to senior status.

Benefits of Team Work

Friday's run showed the benefits of a team. We each shared in carrying the guidon and encouraged each other. Do you think you would have continued for so long had you been running by yourself?

Do you have a spiritual team? Who are your spiritual team mates? Do you have others that can help carry the emotional and spiritual guidons? As you have sought a bodily team, you need to seek a spiritual team too. Please contact a TAC officer if you need help finding a Christ-centered spiritual team.

End of Cycle PT Test

The end-of-cycle physical training test will be held on Friday, March 5 at the West Forsyth High School track. West Forsyth is located approximately 1/2 mile south of the US HWY 421 and Lewisville-Clemmons Road intersection. If possible, please show up 30 minutes early (i.e., 530 hours) to stretch and prepare.

Directions from downtown Winston-Salem:

- Take 421 north to the Lewisville-Clemmons Road exit.
- Turn left onto Lewisville-Clemmons Road.
- Turn left at the stop-light just before the school (which will be on the left).

Directions from Clemmons:

- Take Lewisville-Clemmons Road north.
- Turn right at the stop light just after the school (which will be on the right).

You will see the track and football field on the right, a short distance down the access street. Park in a lot on the right and make your way to the track.
